Help & FAQ

Quick answers to the most common questions about BeatStamp. Can't find what you need? Email us at support@beatstamp.com.

How does BeatStamp work?

Upload your beat, pick a tag (or upload your own), and BeatStamp aligns the tag to the BPM grid — typically an intro hit and then every 8 bars. Preview the placement on the waveform, then export a tagged copy ready to upload to YouTube or share with clients.

How many exports are included on the Free plan?

The Free plan is designed for trying things out and shipping the occasional beat. You get a limited number of exports per month plus access to core tagging features. Upgrade to Pro for higher export limits, longer file retention, and batch processing.

Are my uploads private?

Yes. Beats, tags, and exports are tied to your account and are not visible to other users. We don't browse or share your content, and internal access is limited to what we need for security and support.

Are my files used for AI training?

No. We never use your uploaded audio, tags, presets, or exports to train AI or machine‑learning models — ours or anyone else's. Files are processed for the single purpose of producing the output you requested.

How does batch processing work?

Queue multiple beats in the Studio, choose your tag and placement preset, and BeatStamp processes the whole batch together. You'll get back a single ZIP with each tagged beat ready to download — perfect for prepping a week of Type Beat uploads in one pass.

How do I upgrade to Pro?

Open the Billing page from your account menu and choose a Pro plan (monthly or yearly). Checkout is handled securely by Stripe — your card details never touch our servers. Pro features unlock automatically once payment is confirmed.

How do I cancel Pro?

You can cancel anytime from the Billing page. Your Pro access stays active until the end of the current billing period, and you won't be charged again. Your saved tags, presets, and history remain intact when you return to the Free plan.

What file formats are supported?

Beats can be uploaded as WAV, MP3, M4A, AIF, AIFF, or FLAC. Tags can be uploaded as WAV, MP3, M4A, AIF, or AIFF. On iPhone, you can pick files from the Files app, iCloud Drive, Downloads, or Voice Memos exports.
